Digital STL model of London for 3D Printing. This model is centred on the City of London. This download covers central London from Tower Bridge to Waterloo with key landmarks such as the skyscrapers of the city, The Shard, bridges over the Thames, the Tate Modern and St Paul's cathedral specially modelled to produce a highly detailed 3D map of the city. The Thames has been cut away to highlight the building, piers and ships that form the river frontage.
For 3D printing, a well calibrated direct drive printer is recommended. This model can be printed without a brim if the first layers is printed slow. Depending on your material, it is recommended to print at cooler temps (180 - 190⁰C) and slowly. Setting layer height to 0.3mm will keep printing times down whilst retaining details.
