Pen y Fan - The Fan Dance

The first of a new range of large models, Pen y Fan is modelled at a 1:30,000 scale, showing every lake, stream and outcrop.

The 15 mile Fan Dance route, made famous by SAS selection, is shown in contrasting white resin. The route spans from Pont ar Daf to Torpentau and back via the brutal "Jacobs Ladder".

The model is based on precise survey data, with every detail captured in resin. The piece is then mounted in a handmade oak frame with fittings to display the model hanging from a wall or flat on a desk.

The model is 300mm by 200mm.
